Salary Range: 122,528-$205,915
The Senior Database Engineer is responsible for all activities related to database applications and the corresponding support systems of the Company. The senior DBE is expected to implement and configure appropriate monitoring solutions, so potential database issues can be identified and corrected before they occur. The senior DBE is also expected to perform complex tasks and solve high-level issues across all databases, including on-premise, cloud VMs, and PaaS implementations. This position includes the responsibilities of proposing new technical solutions to address both infrastructure and business needs, as well as creating the necessary documentation for items such as cost estimates, justifications, architecture, implementation, rollback scenarios, disaster recovery and risk mitigation. The Senior Database Engineer will be a technical lead in projects and meetings, carry a positive and constructive attitude, and be expected to complete tasks in a timely manner with little management oversight.
