Salary Range: $79,746-$119,000

 

The healthcare industry vertical sector continues to be dynamic in the need for accelerated supply chain development practices and solutions. Yusen Logistics is committed to achieve global quality standardization across its network, aiming to consistently provide first-rate quality service to the healthcare customers and patients. We are looking for a Healthcare Quality Manager who will support the Global Healthcare Quality Department in achieving this target and cooperate with the local quality departments in North and South America to come up with pro-active, efficient and innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains and develops the internal GDP standard within the healthcare sites of the America’s.
  • Provides (GDP) trainings for various sites within AMR.
  • Close collaboration with the Global Healthcare Quality Manager and the Healthcare Quality Managers in the other regions.
  • Manages the implementation of Global projects (e.g. Enterprise Quality Management System, Computer Systems Validation and Route Risk Assessments) within AMR, ensuring all actions, timescales and outcomes are achieved in accordance with project plans
  • Collaborates with Senior OPCO Management Team members to identify appropriate Quality Programs / Projects to support global objectives
  • Plans and carry out Internal quality audits and GDP/ISO13485 assessments across the AMR, identifying and agreeing corrective action implementation plans and supporting the set up of new GDP facilities
  • Act upon escalations and involve the Global HC Quality Department where needed
  • As directed performs Third Party audits with Yusen Logistics contractors
  • Prepare sites for audits by Customers and/or Government entities. Participate in audits when needed.
  • Supports the development of the AMR Centre of Knowledge and implements our Global Best Practices
  • Develops relationships with Healthcare customers, OPCO’s and key stakeholders to support Regional Development and sales activities
  • Supports the business in promoting quality standards and expectations, including attending customer visits, tender documentation, internal and external presentations, etc.
  • Regularly visits sites across AMR as required

Qualifications

  • Degree level education preferably in pharmacy or related subjects, with Master’s qualification preferred
  • 3-5 years experience, working within the pharmaceutical industry or logistics;
  • Articulate and confident with excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Sound knowledge of GDP and preferably GMP and ISO13485/MDR
  • Pro-active personality, with proven project management skills and able to work independently
  • Ability to work in complex organizations with multiple stakeholders and a multi-cultural environment
  • Exceptional organization and documentation skills and attention to detail
  • High communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate in written and verbal form – with a wide variety of individuals from customers, front line employees to senior executives
  • Strong analytical, logical and problem-solving skills
  • Innate interest in and desire for continuous learning and personal development
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft office, especially Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
  • Strong, collaborative, leadership skills clearly demonstrating by example the Yusen Values – of Connected, Committed, and Creative. Effectively influences actions and opinions of others. Displays vision and passion for continuous improvement; influences and mobilizes others to fulfill the vision
  • Fluent in English in both oral and written
